Teg is a versatile artist from Surrey, BC, training in styles like Hip-Hop and KRUMP. Representing the “illest illusionz” crew, Teg has had the opportunity to compete in various local and out-of-town street dance tournaments, spanning cities such as Toronto, Calgary, Montreal, and Seattle. For Teg, dance is a way of storytelling and emotional expression.
He draws inspiration from the energy of the people around him, movie characters, and anime. His artistic approach involves the fusion of experimental concepts with foundational elements in unconventional ways, resulting in distinctive and captivating movement.
Active in the Montreal dance scene since 2013, Marie-Reine Kabasha, aka M Queen, has been dedicated to both the freestyle scene, specifically in Waacking and theatre work.
She has had the opportunity to work with creators with distinct and versatile artistic languages, including the companies EBNFLŌH, under the direction of Alexandra
Spicey Lande and Tentacle Tribe under the direction of Elon Höglund and Emmanuelle Lêphan.
Since then, she has continued to find meaning and pleasure in working to refine movement and awareness and recently started developing her own artistic language through a research project called “Trigger Point”.
OURO will be premiering their newest work featuring collective members Ash Cornette, Cristina Bucci, Eric Cheung, Ganna Martynova, Kinui Oiwa, and Rina Pellerin.
